O Fortuna

This is possibly the favouite of all the pieces of work I've ever done.
Maybe because it means so much to me.
The blonde guy in the black with the insane makeup is Andreas Tirmanov, a Russian ballet dancer that I played on New Bremen for four years before it closed. The dark haired guy is his lover, apprentice and acolyte Carl Faulkes.
When New Bremen closed, I ran their final scene over tabletop. They put on their final ballet, and adaption of Carl Orff's Carmina Burana (that of Omen fame), and while they were taking their curtain calls they were shot and died in one anothers arms.
I'd been working on the scene all day, and drawing this as I thought about it. By the time I finished the game I was crying so hard I could barely speak, and it was only then that I showed Carl's player this picture.
It's in a very unusual style for me, and it speaks a lot about the four years I played Andrei, and the grief and tragedy of his death.
